New 'Iron Man 2' trailer rules the day

Sure, last night was all about the Oscars and yes, the weekend may have belonged to Tim Burton and his new movie Alice in Wonderland that scored an impressive $116 million debut.

But, there's little doubt that for those who stayed up real late last night that Monday morning is all about the Iron. Iron Man 2, that is.

The latest full-length trailer debuted late last night and we are happy to share it with you below, thanks to UGO.com.

As you can see, there is very little doubt that Alice in Wonderland is but merely an opening act for Iron Man 2's main event that is set to commence on May 7, 2010.

The only question that remains is how high Iron Man 2 will soar. Given a weaker May set of releases than in recent years, it's not inconceivable that Iron Man 2 might set a couple of records of its own before it's done lighting up the multiplexes across the country.
