Kate Winslet Sings A New Tune

Actress Kate Winslet must enjoy the spotlight as the British bomb seems to always make headlines somewhere. She's either married, divorced, naked or in love. This time it's with a song.

The Titanic star's newest project is the voice of Belle in a remake of Charles Dickens' classic 'A Chrismas Carol.' Not only does she bring the poor little girl to life, but she's decided to sing a song for the soundtrack and release it as a single.

'What If' was written and produced by Steve Mac who is the brains behind seven number one British hits in only 18 months.

Kate isn't far from the first to take a soundtrack song and try for a one-hit wonder. Let's just hope she doesn't have to go down under like Gwyneth Paltrow's to catch some airtime.
