Ben Affleck Commits To New Kevin Smith Film

Cult filmmaker Kevin Smith has proven time and again to be loyal to his friends. And, in turn, his friends line up to return the favor, usually by appearing in his movies for a tremendous cut in pay.

Ben Affleck is a good example. Ben has appeared in four out of Kevin's five movies to date (Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back) and has just signed up for the next one.

The Untitled project will be the first movie that Kevin has made outside of his movie world known as the View Askewniverse. The movie will be a low-budget homage to parenthood, to which Smith is intimately familiar having a 2-year-old daughter himself.
