'Brave' wishes you a Happy Father's Day

I'm not usually one to fall victim to sentimentality. But given that this weekend will mark my first Father's Day, I guess even I'm not above a little well-placed marketing.

Pixar has taken their upcoming release (next weekend) and created a little Father's Day tribute to share with all of the dads out there. That story of Brave follows one daughter's rebellious desire to fight back against the life that was preordained for her and to find her own path.

From the looks that we have seen of the movie, it's pretty evident that her relationship with her Father is one of the key touching stones of the film. So, I suppose the tribute is appropriate.

I'm not going to admit that I shed a tear seeing this and thinking of my little daughter, but I'm not going to deny it either. On behalf of Tim and I, allow me to also pass along our wishes for a Happy Father's day. Brave looks to melt your hearts on June 22.
