A few things you may not have known about 'Star Wars'

Obviously, we're huge Star Wars fans. so it's no surprise that when I happened upon Chris Littler's article over at The Sixth Wall titled "15 Things You Didn't Know About Star Wars," my interest was immediately piqued.

You may recall that last year we ran a piece that looked at the original script for The Empire Strikes Back and that provided a lot of insight and answered some lingering questions. As Chris correctly points out, while there are numerous Star Wars fanatics who claimed to know all of the minutiae of the Star Wars galaxy, there is just so much involved with six feature films and a seemingly never-ending expanded universe that it would be impossible to know them all.

While a couple of his "revelations" such as Mark Hamill' car accident that forced a rewrite to the opening of Empire and George Lucas basing the concept of Chewbacca on his dog Indiana I had known previously, there are more than a few gems in the article.
