If there's one movie that I'm really looking forward to this Fall, it's The Social Network. The movie is a true look at the rise and explosion of the social media websites, namely Facebook, and the intrigue behind the cutthroat business of online empires.

In fact, it was just revealed that The Social Network will open the New York Film Fest on September 24. Directed by one of my faves David Fincher and starring a bevy of hot young actors and actresses, including the recently crowned next Spider-Man himself Andrew Garfield, it, along with Inception, remain the two MUST SEE movies of the year.

A couple of weeks ago, Tim gave you a look at the poster and I'm happy to say that we got another look at a teaser trailer today that I think really helps to convey the tone of the movie. I think you'll agree that it's one of the more unique trailers that you've ever seen.

Of course, Tim pointed out that the trailer would've been more realistic (and loads funnier) had they interspersed some "Farmville" requests amid the multitude of status updates. Now that, would've been hilarious. In fact, it inspired him to re-tool the poster below (click for a bigger copy).

As it stands, I can't wait to see the movie, what about you?

UPDATE: It seems that the "teaser" trailer above was basically the words from the first full-length trailer set to Facebook updates, with a few additions and subtractions here and there. Catchy and neat, but the trailer, with actual footage looks even better. Also, the haunting rendition of 'Creep' playing in the background strikes a perfect tone. In other words, I'm more excited now than ever to see this movie. Watch the full trailer below.
