Daniel Radcliffe to complete 'Harry Potter' series

While Daniel Radcliffe is currently getting naked on London stage, it seems that muggles everywhere will rejoice with the latest Radcliffe news. Daniel's publicist has confirmed that he has signed on to play Harry Potter through the end of the series.

There was some speculation that given that the original five film contract was up and Radcliffe's obvious desire to tackle more mature material that Daniel might forego the last two movies in the franchise.

Filming begins in September on Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince which will hit theaters on November 21, 2008. Author J.K. Rowling will release the final book in the franchise, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, around the world on July 21st.

Filming on the final movie is expected to take place next year with a release tentatively planned for July 2010.

Daniel Radcliffe can next be seen in theaters on July 13th with Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
