Lightnin' Crandall (1937, B&W): Bob "Lightning" Crandall is the fastest gun-hand in Texas. Tired of continually defending his life and reputation with quick-draw duels, Lightning swears an oath to never use his six-shooters again and moves west to Arizona - where no one could possibly know who he is. After arriving, Lightning is thrown into the middle of a land dispute between the Shannon family and the villainous Carson Blaine. Unable to leave his past behind him, Crandall comes to the aide of Sheila Shannon and discovers that his former quick-draw mentor is now a hired thug for Blaine.
