A few years after her mother's passing, TENI's teenage reputation at high school takes a major hit right before the prom. To further complicate matters, her overeager father, ROBERT, decides it's time to rebuild their relationship.

Against his shrink's advice, Robert tries to get close to his daughter and snoops around to learn about Teni's personal life with the help of his newly appointed intern, MICHAEL.

Raised mostly by her extended family, Teni is smart beyond her years and a little rebellious. After she catches on to her father's plan, she tries to convince him to find a lady friend to get him off her back, and recruits her friends to create online dating profiles him.

Things escalate when Robert secretly goes behind her back and she retaliates by throwing an epic house party.
