The Team: Season 1

The Team, a new brand of European crime fighting drama from the International Emmy® Award-winning writers of The Eagle and Unit One, begins when a woman is found in Copenhagen, killed with a shot through her left eye and one of her fingers cut off. Hours later, two more bodies are found in Antwerp and Berlin similarly mutilated. Solving these killings is the task of the newly formed Joint Investigation Team a small, mobile cross-border police unit dedicated to fighting international organized crime. Danish detective Harald Bjørn (Lars Mikkelsen, Those Who Kill, Borgen) joins forces with German agent Jackie Mueller (Jasmin Gerat, Tatort) and Belgian officer Alicia Verbeek (Verle Baetens, The White Queen, Code 37) to crack the case. Their initial suspect is Jean-Louis Poquelin (Carlos Leal, The Undertaker) - but when a fourth victim is discovered and Poquelin is kidnapped, all bets are off.
