More than Famous is the documentary/love story of Salvadorian/American boxer Carlos "Famoso" Hernandez as he fights for his American dream, two world titles and the spirit of an entire country.
The film takes an intimate look at the life of the super featherweight boxer and picks up the story as the underdog Hernandez is preparing to fight WBC champion Floyd Mayweather for the title. The film explores Hernandez's return to boxing prominence at the age of 30, with the help of manager Robert Mittleman and legendary trainer Amilcar Brusa.
