Caution: Show Dogs

As directed by Leslye Abbey, the documentary Caution: Show Dogs travels into the uniquely American subculture of dog shows, where hundreds of canine breeders from across the U.S. gather together to present the creme-de-la-creme of dogs, and compete for the much-coveted title of 'Best in Show.' The documentary ventures behind the scenes of one such show, profiling four breeders at the top of their game, who discuss the years of expertise that have fed into their craftsmanship, the secrets necessary to produce top-of-the-line champions, and much more. Abbey fleshes all of this out with extensive footage of the shows themselves.
