Treacherous political intrigue, clandestine romance and heart pounding fights to the death abound in these Gladiator adventures! A man is wrongly sent to the arena where, as a Gladiator, he must fight for his life and win his freedom before he can avenge his father's murder (Gladiators 7) or save his village and his lover (The Rebel Gladiators) or protect a slave girl who is a princess in her homeland (Gladiator of Rome). Gladiators escaping the arena must survive pursuit by Roman soldiers (Spartacus and the Ten Gladiators). In two films, the arena facilitates the ultimate showdown as Gladiators face off to determine the future of their country (Duel of the Champions) or as the Emperor himself chooses to test his mettle (Two Gladiators).
