Answer to Trivia

Guy Ritchie's 1995 film The Man from U.N.C.L.E. was a bit of a box office disappointment after the $75 million film only earned $45 million at the box office. After you factor in the worldwide box office and the home entertainment earnings, the film probably turned a small profit, but they were hoping for a huge hit.

Part of the enthusiasm for The Man from U.N.C.L.E. initially centered on the star attached to the film, Tom Cruise. Unfortunately, Cruise had to leave the project before filming began when the shoot for Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation went long. Henry Cavill replaced Cruise in The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and the rest is history.

Ironically, Henry Cavill was cast in this week's new movie Mission: Impossible - Fallout alongside Tom Cruise and the film was a great box office success to the tune of $220 million. Mission: Impossible - Fallout is now avialable on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD.
