Austin Powers Loses His 'Member'

We reported a while back that MGM and New Line were fighting over the spoof title for the third installment of Austin Powers. Well, it looks like New Line is out of options and will have to settle for another title.

The MPAA denied an appeal that New Line filed after MGM successfully argued that the title Goldmember was used without their permission. The title is a spoof of 1964's Goldfinger.

But don't worry Austin fans. The ruling does not affect the content of the movie since it's Constitutionally protected. Rather, it was a procedural violation that MGM jumped on as their cause of the moment.

Anyone have ideas for a new title?
