Rumored Sequel To 'Resident Evil' Being Written

If rumor were salvation, then Hollywood would be its Heaven, Nirvana, or other place of eternal redemption.

The latest piece of "trade talk" concerns the mildly awaited video game turned movie Resident Evil. You've probably seen Milla Jovovich fighting the catatonic canines on the boob tube. It seems that they're hyping this movie like crazy.

Well, it looks like they're also trying to build some credibility, by suggesting that they're already writing the sequel to the movie. In other words, the movie's so good, we know that it's going to perform like gangbusters at the box office and the movie going public will demand a sequel. An interesting theory, only time will tell if it pays off...
