The Cast For 'The Hulk' Takes Shape

Ang Lee is quietly assembling a terrific cast for his big screen adaptation, The Hulk. While the main character has been known for months, Eric Bana as Dr. Bruce Banner/The Hulk, the rest of the cast is shaping up nicely.

First, Jennifer Connelly, fresh off of her Academy Award nomination for A Beautiful Mind, will step in as Betty, a female colleague and love interest of Banner. Next, Sam Elliott brings his experience as her military father, while Nick Nolte adds some fatherly advice of his own to Bruce. Finally, Josh Lucas, also fresh off of A Beautiful Mind, will play a competing suitor for Betty's affections, no doubt stirring some deep emotions in Dr. Bruce Banner.
