'Blackjack' To Make Big Screen Debut

Blackjack is the latest comic book franchise to be optioned for a big screen, Hollywood treatment. The graphic novel series follows a rogue African-American soldier nicknamed Blackjack who is caught in the political crosshairs while protecting a Chinese dignitary.

While the project is still in its infancy, there are whispers that Michael Jai White is interested in the lead role. White has experience in the genre, he was the off-kilter superhero in 1997's Spawn.
