Miramax isn't the only studio compiling great casts these days. Columbia announced that it's close to signing John Cusack, Ray Liotta and Amanda Peet to star in I.D.

The idea behind I.D. is that 10 motorists get stranded in a remote hotel when a ferocious desert storm strikes without warning. Things take a turn for the worse when the 10 motorists start to disappear one-by-one...
