By Scott, 'Alien 5' Might Be A Go!

After months, no years, of speculation, it looks like the fifth Alien movie might become a reality. Series creator Ridley Scott has been going back and forth on a fifth movie and may finally have decided to do it. Scott recently commmented, "I'm seriously mulling it over. I think it would be a lot of fun, but the most important thing is to get the story right."

The story has always been the sticking point. There are three main storylines currently in circulation. The first picks up where Alien: Resurrection left off and explores the idea of the aliens landing on Earth. The second plot idea revolves around exploring the origin of the aliens. Where did they come from? Or, better yet, taking the fight to their planet. And finally, the last idea is the long talked about cross-over Alien Vs. Predator, which is rumored to be developed regardless of what Scott decides.
