Kevin Smith's Side-Kick Jason Mewes Is A Wanted Man

Jason Mewes on-screen persona isn't far off from his real-life. The actor is now wanted by New Jersey police for violating his probation on real-life drug charges...it's not the movies Jason.

His face has become popular after co-starring with his best bud Kevin Smith in flicks like Mallrats, Clerks and Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back, where Jason has pegged himself as a burn-out in every show.

It was a traffic stop in New Jersey that put Jason in the mess he's in today. A policeman pulled him over when he noticed his airbag was deployed. Jason struck a plea bargain after police found a hypodermic needle and a stash of heroine in his sock.

He was suppose to appear in court with his attorney, an appearance that slipped both of their minds and claims it was just a "miscommunication."
