Mandy Moore On Her Acting Career

The little pop sensation Mandy Moore may love the microphone but she's ready to take on acting at a more serious level.

She says movie-making is less stressful than music-making. "Actors don't realize how easy they have it. Musicians are always traveling...Actors, when you're on location you have such a a nice regimented schedule. It was such a wonderful experience compared to what my life is like normally."

Ms. Moore currently stars in two movies, The Princess Diaries and A Walk To Remember. Even though she is mesmorized by the acting industry she still loves her music. "I still want the main point of my career to be music but I'm ready for more acting. I want to dive in head first!"

From the comments of her co-stars, Mandy will have no problems making a career in front of a camera either. Shane West, who falls for her in A Walk To Remember, says she's a natural and their scenes were easy and real.
