Disney Gives Kate Hudson Her Wings

What happened? I mean, what transpired in the few moments in which I looked away that no longer made it "cool" to just be an actress in Hollywood?

Hollywood's newest "It" girl, Kate Hudson recently launched her very own production company and Disney has picked up her first offering, Last Call. The story follows two "escorts" from Heaven who escort the souls of dead people to Heaven and Hell. The escorts accidentally save their latest victim's life and must try to rectify the situation (i.e. kill the unlucky soul). In the process, the escorts fall in love and teach the man the importance of living a good life.

Barry Sonnenfeld is set to direct and Kate will play one of the Heavenly bodies. Now that's what I call divine casting...
