Brad Pitt To Tackle War Movie

Pitt and Fincher. Together. Again.

Brad Pitt and David Fincher are building quite the movie making bond. The star and director recently announced that they would be working together on They Fought Alone, their third such collaboration.

They Fought Alone is a World War II movie in which Pitt is set to play Colonel Wendell Fertig, an American who leads a group of guerilla soldiers against an occupying unit of Japanese soldiers on a Phillipine island. No start date is set, but all parties hope to finish filming by the end of the year.

The business prospects are good considering that Pitt and Fincher's previous collaborations Se7en and Fight Club were both substantial box office hits.
