Canada’s Fairmont Banff Springs was the place to stargaze last week but not in the sky, rather on the slopes.
The late John F. Kennedy, Jr. started the Waterkeeper Alliance, an umbrella organization for more than 70 other programs that focus on “clean water” issues, finding citizens to care for local lakes, rivers, bays and streams.
Ski bunnies like Farrah Fawcett, Glenn Close, Marcia Gay Harden and Matthew Modine were a few of the celebrities hitting the slopes for cash and Lyle Lovett gave a concert at the event as well.
