Dan Aykroyd Joins The Talk Show Circuit

Hosting a talk show isn't something new to comedian/actor Dan Aykroyd, but this time he'll have guests and everything.

Cable television's SciFi Channel is set put "Out There" on the Fall 2002 schedule. Dan will host the show and invite guests from "Average Joe" to scientific investigators. Why Dan Aykroyd?

"Dan is passionate about these subjects, and he's incredibly well connected with everyone from the fanatic who works out of his garage to the MIT science-based expert," SciFi Channel president Bonnie Hammer said.

Dan hosted another science-fiction show for several years called "PSI Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal," a weekly show that "dramatized the unexplained through a fictional organzation called the Office of Scientific Investigation and Research." Sounds a little X-Filish.
