Attack Of The Boy Band Clones?

Apparently George Lucas is planning to fight fire with fire. Or in this case, make Jar Jar appealing by including something even more wretched than the bumbling one in Attack Of The Clones.

A few sources are reporting that the ultra popular, albeit counter-Star Wars culture, boy band N'Sync have been given the honor of having a cameo in Lucas' latest space opera. The good news is they won't be performing in some dive cantina on Tatooine. The bad news is they've been elevated to Jedi status. The rumor indicates that they will play background Jedi Knights in the pivotal battle on Geonosis.

The only saving grace is that we're also hearing that the Jedi suffer massive loses in this battle. If there is a God in this universe far, far away, perhaps they'll see a bloody end that should have been reserved for Jar Jar in The Phantom Menace.
