There wasn't any mention of an adjustment for inflation, but it appears that Steve Austin is headed to the big screen. Dimension and Universal announced this week that they're going to join forces and adapt the book upon which "The Six Million Dollar Man" TV series was based into a feature-length movie.

While that announcement alone is surely newsworthy, it was also revealed that Kevin Smith, who actually turned in a script for the project in 1995, could potentially be involved. Of course, that was 1995, just before Universal brought out Smith's Mallrats, which went on to underperform at the box office before finding its niche on home video. Although, the project is being co-produced with Dimension who enjoyed much better success this year with Smith's Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back.

No actors have been attached to play Steve Austin, but if Smith does get involved, you can bet that buds Ben Affleck, Matt Damon and Jason Lee would get first dibs...
