John Cusack's Next?

Dark comic genius-turned America's Sweetheart John Cusack is mulling over his next role. His name has been brought up in rumor after rumor about various roles, but now it appears that his cloudy forecast is clearing up.

Sources close to the actor indicate that he's got two projects that he's currently favoring. The first would be a starring role in Batman: Year One, not necessarily the caped crusader, but a younger version of a central character. The second project would be a long-awaited sequel to Grosse Pointe Blank, the story of a contract killer coming to grips with his high school reunion.
