'The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe' Movie To Be Made

Since the story is the perfect mix of Lord Of The Rings and Harry Potter, it's no wonder that C.S. Lewis' The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe is being developed as a live-action feature film.

The classic children's story is the second in Lewis' "Chronicles Of Narnia" seven-part series. It's the tale of two brothers and two sisters who step through a closet into the magical world of Narnia, a snow-covered world filled with fantasy creatures and sorcery.

It's being backed by billionaire investor Philip Anschutz' new Walden Media group and is expected in theaters in 2004.
