Will Smith Is A 'Legend'

Will Smith might be the king of the world in his new film Ali, but his latest movie will make him the last man on Earth. Smith has agreed in principal to star in I Am Legend, an adaptation of a Richard Matheson novel by the same name.

In Legend, Smith will play Robert Neville, the last human survivor of a mysterious plague. Neville comes under attack from vampires who see him as the last viable source of food.

If the story sounds familiar, it should. The same novel was adapted for The Last Man On Earth, with Vincent Price, and The Omega Man, with Charlton Heston.
