All 'Signs' Point To Disney?

Disney has long been known as the master of promotions for their movies. Last year, they held the premiere of Pearl Harbor on a real aircraft carrier docked in Pearl Harbor, mere yards from the site where most of the movie's action took place in real life 60 years ago. They don't spare any expense for their animated movies either. Whether it's the McMonsters Happy Meal or the ocular impaired star showing up on every web site under the sun, Disney knows how to promote their movies. Heck, they even resurrected Bruce Willis' career with a string of hit movies.

But this latest promotion might just take the cake. And they're probably not even behind it. Paranormal researchers across the world are blaming Disney for the sudden and widespread appearance of crop circles in the past few weeks. It seems that they're showing up everywhere from South Africa to Hawaii and the "experts" claim that it's a vast marketing promotion for M. Night Shyamalan's new movie Signs, starring Mel Gibson and Joaquin Phoenix.

The movie, which is still filming, centers around the mysterious appearance of crop circles in rural Pennsylvania. Disney officially denied having anything to do with the crop circle resurgence, but did remark that it was nice that people were already thinking about a movie that won't come out until next summer.
