Women Really Do Dig Comics

There's been a long standing belief that comics are only for overweight and underweight guys with little or no social skills. But, the casting fervor surrounding Daredevil may change that stereotype.

Word out of Hollywood has it that the leading ladies are literally clawing each other over the chance to star opposite of Ben Affleck's Daredevil. Our spies tell us that three starlets have the inside track. Penelope Cruz is a big fan and has even met with director Mark Steven Johnson about the part. Jessica Alba is a strong candidate because of her newfound drawing power based on the success of her TV show "Dark Angel." And Star Wars babe Natalie Portman is considered a dark horse because her exotic looks and intelligent wit perfectly match the persona of Electra, Daredevil's love interest. I'm sure Ben wouldn't mind a few screen tests with these lovely ladies, just to be sure...
