In a movie of crowded cameos, you just knew that Kevin Smith would find a way to fit in a few of his favorite friends, but the latest rumored cameo is funny. Or should we say "Comic"-al? Smith, a longtime comic book aficionado and sometimes writer (his latest run is the critically praised revival, nay resurrection, of Green Arrow), recently received permission to use a Marvel comic book character that is "close to [his] heart," according to WizardWorld.com. While the identity of the mysterious superhero is being kept under tight wraps, the smart money is on Daredevil, a character that Smith has written for in the past, or a Stan Lee character, say Thing from The Fantastic Four, since Smith's adoration of Lee resulted in the two of them collaborating on Smith's Mallrats. Perhaps Brodie will finally get his answer concerning the extent of Reed Richards' ability to stretch ALL parts of his body...
