Kim Basinger To Play Eminem's Mother

Actress Kim Basinger is in final negotiations to star opposite Eminem in Curtis Hanson's Fight Song, the story of a young white rapper from Detroit who struggles to make his way into the music business.

If the story sounds familiar, it should. The movie is loosely based on Eminem's own life. Basinger is scheduled to play Eminem's mother in the movie.

If art imitates life, Basinger better brush up on her law. Eminem's mother has sued him various times over the years for a plethora of reasons.
