Playboy On The Big Screen?

No longer relegated to the sleazy movie houses of days past, it appears that erotic movies are about to hit the big time. And leading the way is Playboy, of course.

In a deal announced earlier this week, Playboy will begin producing movies that "center around the unique lifestyle that Playboy has created." These movies will feature budgets in the $25 million range and be targeted for theatrical release.

With the staggering glut of movies currently flooding the megaplexes, I guess we'll finally find out for sure whether or not sex sells...
