Guy Ritchie's Partner Disagrees With Casting Madonna

Guy Ritchie's next film, 'Swept Away,' will star his wife, Madonna, much to Matthew Vaughn's dismay. The two are collaborating in the love story set on a Mediterranean island, but they have started off on a bad note.

Vaughn believed Penelope Cruz would have fit the bill perfectly. Guy supposedly wrote the part with his wife in mind but his film partner and best friend wanted a bigger box-office draw. A source said, "Matthew and Guy disagree all the time over casting, but this one has particularly got to Matthew because he feels Guy may have let his heart rule his head."

Can you imagine Madonna with a tan? Doubtful. So, we'll soon see a wealthy, pasty white island girl fall in love with a poor sailor.
