Farrelly Brothers To Bring Three Stooges Back To Life

Don't look now, but it appears that the seventh sign of the apocalypse has come true. The Kings of Slapstick will get to pay the ultimate homage to their heroes. The brothers Farrelly have been brought on board by Warner Brothers to produce, script and probably direct a feature film based on the Three Stooges.

No stranger to strange comic films such as Kingpin and There's Something About Mary, the Farrelly brothers plan a modern tale with the Three Stooges as the main characters. Apparently, the movie will cast the Three Stooges in the present without relying on complex time travel theories or long-lost descendents of the original members.

No cast has been set, but one has to believe that Farrelly main man Jim Carrey will figure into the equation somehow. I can see Curly spinning in his grave as we speak...
