Opa! Opa! Does anyone want to see 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2'?

We have been talking a lot lately about unnecessary sequels and this one is right up there among the biggest offenders. Back in 2002 Nia Vardalos was able to catch lightning in a bottle and created one of the biggest surprise hits of all time with My Big Fat Greek Wedding. But, does anyone really want to see a sequel after 13 years?

What is there left to be said?

Well, Hollywood is never able to leave well enough alone, so it shouldn't shock anyone that there's a sequel coming to the $241 million hit. We've known about this for awhile, but I was secretly hoping that it was all drug-induced hallucination or that Hollywood would eventually come to their senses.

Sadly, with the release of the trailer for My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, this behemoth turned into a real nightmare. If it wasn't enough that the whole film was unnecessary, but everything you wanted to know about the characters was given away in the trailer.

So, even if you simply wanted to see this film to catch up with the Portokalos family, there's no need. Just watch this trailer and you will be all set. Is there anyone out there really looking forward to this? Please let us know, if you're a fan and pumped for this film.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 is due in theaters on March 25, 2016.
