Russell Must Think He's Mel

Oscar-winner Russell Crowe has been turning down roles left and right and causing much speculation in Hollywood. Everyone can rest their eyebrows as the Gladiator announces his next big project and following in fellow Aussie Mel Gibson's footsteps as well.

Russell proved himself as an actor years ago but now he is set to make his debut as a director, screenwriter and producer with "The Long Green Shore," a story of an Australian battalion during World War II. Sound familiar? Braveheart, maybe?
