Our old friends Han and Luke
Yes, there was other big news to come out of this year's Comic-Con in San Diego. It's just that Star Wars captured a rancor's share of the attention. With just over five months until the premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, this was the unofficial kick-off to the movie's marketing.
John shared the awesome new behind-the-scenes video that was shown to attendees on Friday. You now have the opportunity to watch the entire, hour-long Star Wars panel -- it's almost as if you were there. The video comes courtesy of Flicks and the City.
If you don't have 60 minutes to devote to the above video (and you call yourself a fan?!) you can watch this Reader's Digest version from io9. They condense the best bits into under eight minutes.
Of course none of this will satiate your desire to see the new Star Wars film. You'll get that chance on Dec. 18. Below you will find a ton of photos from the Comic-Con panel and concert. These will give you even more to look forward to. Enjoy!
Included in photos: J.J. Abrams, John Boyega, Gwendoline Christie, Adam Driver, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Domhnall Gleeson, Mark Hamill, Chris Hardwick, Oscar Isaac, Lawrence Kasdan, Kathleen Kennedy, Peter Mayhew, Bobby Moynihan, and Daisy Ridley.
