What Is Up With 'Unbreakable 2'?

Easily the most talked about sequel in the underbelly of the Internet these days is the controversial sequel to Unbreakable. The controversy lies in the conflicting reports coming out of Hollywood about the possibility of there ever being an Unbreakable 2.

Disney and writer-director M. Night Shyamalan have downplayed the reports of a sequel numerous times. In fact, Shyamalan has already begun work on his next movie Signs, starring Mel Gibson and dealing with crop circles in rural Philadelphia.

But late last week, a dubious, alleged interview with the writer-director started popping up all over the web. The contents of the interview cover a wide range of territory but it does specifically state there are plans to do Unbreakable 2 after work is finished with Signs.

So what will be the fate of Unbreakable 2? I guess we'll have to wait and see what the Signs indicate.
