'The Mask 2' Moves Forward

New Line is trying to revive The Mask, either with or without Jim Carrey. Word has it that the studio has contracted Lance Khazei to write a sequel to the 1994 blockbuster.

The problem is that New Line might bring The Mask 2 alive on another actor's mug because of Carrey's high asking price these days.
