Jennifer Lopez To Play Cinderella?

Cinderella is about to get a face lift for the 21st century, and baby's about to get some back as well. Jennifer Lopez is in final negotiations to play the lead in The Chambermaid, a modern retelling of the Cinderella story.

The posterior blessed actress will portray a young destitute who takes a job as a maid in a hotel in the search for a better life. She meets a British chap on the job and the two fall in love before she abruptly quits her job sending the young man on a desperate chase to find her.

The king of all 1980s teen films, John Hughes, is set to write and produce The Chambermaid.
