'Country Bears 2' Moves Into Development

I'm sure you're asking yourselves the same question, "I didn't even know there was such a thing as Country Bears 1." And you're right, there isn't, at least not yet.

But that hasn't stopped Disney from working on the sequel. The Country Bears is a live action/puppet movie featuring Christopher Walken and Haley Joel Osment. It's based on the popular Disneyland exhibit "Country Bear Jamboree." And, it just entered post-production and it's scheduled for a Summer release in 2002.

Apparently, the excitement at the studio was so immense that they immediately got to work on a sequel. So much for the general public, eh?
