Put on those headphones. Press play on your Sony Walkman. Dance to the sweet sounds of your favorite pop music mixtape. Guardians of the Galaxy is set to own on Dec. 9.
It's the biggest movie of the year (so far). Marvel's sci-fi/action/comedy blockbuster has captivated millions of movie-goers across our solar system. You can bring it home in one of three ways: DVD, Blu-ray, or 3D Blu-ray + Digital HD.
In case you've been on some remote planet this summer, the film stars Chris Pratt as Peter Quill, a wise-talking adventurer who is taken from Earth at a young age. He teams up with a motley crew of losers in order to stop an ambitious villain from owning an orb with the power to rule the galaxy.
Both Blu-ray versions have some really cool bonus features:
- Never-Before-Seen Deleted Scenes
- Making-of Featurettes
- Exclusive Look at Marvel's The Avengers: Age of Ultron
- Gag Reel
- Audio Commentary for the Film
The DVD has one deleted scene and the Age of Ultron preview.
As someone who paid to see Guardians of the Galaxy twice in the theater -- a very rare occurrence for me -- I'm all sorts of excited to relive the excitement in immaculate Blu-ray.
