Jennifer Lawrence sprouts wings in new 'Mockingjay' poster

Lionsgate leaked two new pictures of Jennifer Lawrence this, but don't worry they weren't related at all to those other pictures. No, these were pictures in the form of two new posters for her upcoming film The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.

In the first poster, we get sort of a bizarre shot of JLaw's back and her most lethal assets, her bow and arrows. It's a pretty striking pose as we don't get even a hint of her world-famous face. Could it be that Lionsgate is merely having fun with the idea that this film is so easy to market that they don't need to show their star's face, or are they simply saying that Katniss is back and this time she's pretty pissed off.

I'm betting more on the latter.

The second poster is more along the lines of a traditional theatrical poster that catches JLaw head on with dogged determination in her eyes. Behind her, wings from the Mockingjay are set so as to make them appear attached to her. Is she an angel? If so, she's a vengeful angel and I wouldn't want to be on the other side of that stare.

These two new posters sort of reminded me that we haven't really seen any new footage in a while, let alone a full-length trailer. Don't worry, Lionsgate also dropped this teaser trailer. We only have to wait until Monday for new footage.
