Do you believe in second chances?

If so, then X-Men: Days of Future Past might be for you.

Do you believe it is possible to travel back in past to change an undesirable future/present?

If so, then X-Men: Days of Future Past is most definitely for you.

Do you think that time travel is hog wash and comic book movies are nothing more than a silly excuse for grown men to prance around in tights?

Well then, you might want to skip this movie and article altogether.

Now that I'm speaking with just the true believers, let me clue you in on this action-packed trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past that recently dropped. My partner in crime Tim thinks that it's a bit "muddled" and I will allow that they have gotten their money's worth on this one, but that's the point.

X-Men: Days of Future Past will be the fifth direct X-Men film not counting all of those Wolverine stories, so if you're still paying attention to X-Men stuff, there's a pretty good chance that you're familiar with the universe. This trailer features just about every major character (both old and young) in the cast and yet, it still does a pretty good job of conveying the plot.

It's pretty simple. The future sucks and so they send Wolverine back in time to meet up with their younger selves and to unite the mutant factions to fight against whatever causes the dystopian future. Here's a hint, I bet that whatever has a lot to do with Peter Dinklage.

The future is dark and features sentinels (yay!). The past is bright and vibrant and features moody Professor X (yay?). Mix them together and I think X-Men: Days of Future Past is slowly climbing up my list of must-see films this summer.
