Facts assemble in new 'Avengers' infographic

I'm a big fan of infographics.

They usually present information in an easy to digest visual manner. If they had infographics back when I was in school, I'm pretty sure that my GPA would have been much, much better. But I digress.

I know that some people complain that they have been overused lately and they might be right, but when I saw this infographic on The Avengers, I knew that they had hit a home run.

Being honest, how many of you out there remember that Venom, Sunspot or Tigra were a part of The Avengers team at one time or another? This infographic not only lists all 102 individuals that have been on The Avengers, but they also list their alter-ego or identity which can come in handy for some of us who are much closer to 50 than 20.

They also include interesting tidbits like 22 of the individuals who were a part of The Avengers are named after animals or the various acronyms that S.H.I.E.L.D. stood for over the years. The bottom line, with Avengers: Age of Ultron coming out this year and original Avenger Ant-Man getting his own movie next Summer, this infographic might just come in handy, especially as the series progresses and the lineup of The Avengers evolves over time.

I wonder if they would ever add a character to The Avengers that hasn't been a member in the comic? Now that would be a bold move, no?
