The real Slim Shady is about to make his big screen debut. Sources indicate that Eminem is close to signing a deal with Brian Grazer to develop and star in a movie that is loosely based on his life.

With his long litany of hard knocks, including his much publicized rift with his mother and the status of his marriage, which have found their way into his music, one can only imagine the gritty drama that will unfold against the backdrop of the Motor City.

No other details have been made public and the release date of late 2002 is highly speculative.
